It's getting on toward Christmas now and I usually wouldn't miss an opportunity to go out to the mall and dance around in the glee of the merry shoppers, but the other night something occured to me. There's almost a madness in people's hearts when it comes to Christmas shopping which doesn't necessarily hold with a brotherly Christian ethic.

The other day I was outside Coffee & when Steve and I were there, and rather than stop and ask for directions and buy a cup of coffee, some Canadians started shouting at me from their Mini Van in a vain attempt to find Factory Outlet Mall. I answered them, but not without hesitation. I told them to take a Left at McDonald's. How's that for American Pluralism?
