Sleep Marvelous Sleep

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - Well, I've been sleeping the last couple of days, probably due to depression over the fact that sis had to be in the hospital. Hope you're doing better sis. I'm just waking up here.

Scott called just as I was about to have dinner, and I told him about the Lord of the Rings being out on Video Tape. He said that was cool, I just don't know how we'd get together to watch it without cars. Who knows. Sometimes miracles happen.

Dad and Josh are going to play baseball, and I am here contemplating my next move. Perhaps some Dickens on the Front porch. 70 degree weather should not go to waste.

Every day is like sunday....

Thanks Morrissey..,

The Starlight Cafe

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - I've been posting today on a website called the Starlight Cafe, that Jolene courteously has made me aware of. It's very interesting, kind of like Blogging, but it takes longer, because there are so many details to fill. The poems can have backgrounds and music and all sorts of things added. It's really pretty neat. I don't have the
URL handy. Jolene, if you want to help out and post a link here, it would be really cool. Thanks, and keep on Blogging.

There was a note on Google News that we've started blasting Iraq again, just in case anyone wants to follow that up. Just what we need, more heartbreak ridge type stuff. So much for the ceasefire.

Casino Times

Last night I spent some more time in the Casinos, both the New York and the Casino Niagara. I lost my shorts again at video poker. Fortunately, my shorts were worth 8 bucks. I'm doing pretty good so far this month, with that big win a couple weeks ago.

I'm tuned into Semtex on BBC One and rubbing my stomach, ouch, spicy tacos last night. The beer doesn't mix well with the drugs... :) Semtex is talking about Jay-Z's retirement, and apparently it works something like this, Jay-Z is becoming Sean Carter again. Everyone knew he wouldn't retire for real. How can you, when you're alive, you have to be creative.

I should be posting this on Tone Def.

Maybe I will.

Hmmmm. I wonder when I see the doctor next. Should probably call them about that.

Hang on while I dial...Answering Service. BS. It's almost 11:00 and they can't put me through. There should be no secretary's day for these people. They've hounded my existence for months.

Anyway, on to happy happy joy joy thoughts,

My dogs are smiling at me, maybe I'm looking squirell like...

Navy Talon

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - I've sent my father an invitation to write for this Blog. Let's see how this all works itself out.

Six Years Ago

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - Looking back it would have seemed to be the right thing to do. I was due to graduate from college in May. I I read that I had seen 3 movies in April of that month, US Marshalls, Mercury Rising, and Lost in Space. I had a couple of Chips and Salsa parties, where a gradeschool friend tried to over imposingly take over and lead people down a path toward destruction. We have seen that ultimately that all worked out for the good. At least for the people I refer to.

I was working on a project for Economics class, an area where I was very good. I was also working on some papers for lit and as it would seem, history, although I can't recall a specific history theme at that school. Hmmm.

And President Clinton was visiting Africa. I know that, because I posted it. Somewhere I pulled it out of a DNC feed and re-printed it.

And it was before the age of Cell phones. I couldn't be leashed in by the things. I was actually still driving the Shadow back then. Hard to believe I've gone through two cars since then. But, well, habit brings it. In my life, I will be an automotive consumer. There's no doubt about it.

Where am I today? Right here with you my friends. Right here with you...

The Egg Sandwich Dream

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - I awoke this morning laughing out loud at a dream I had. It went something like this. Apparently 3 women were trying to make me an egg sandwich. Two of them were cooking it, and one was particularly concerned with the wrapping. I'm not sure if this was some kind of kinky fetish thing or not. In any case, the one most concerned with the wrapping was fidgeting with a digital camera of sorts that spat out band aid sized pieces of tape with transparent negative type images on its film. She kept obsessing over the perfect hair band shot of her two friends who were making the eggs. When she finally got the "perfect hair band" shot she took the band aid sized tape and used it to seal the wrapping on the egg sandwich, where it subsequently melted into place, making it the perfect sandwich. Along I come ready to have breakfast, and I am sorely disappointed that such an excellent photo is wasted, and I try to remove the tape, and it is impossible. The tape is torn, and the egg sandwich lies uneaten cooling while I try to explain my problem to the women who are bickering amongst themselves. Sound like any kind of dream you've had recently?

Korean Cafe'

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing

Korean Cafe'
by Christopher J. Bradley
(c)2004

Shuffling my feet,
Across the doorstep,
Of my favorite Cafe'
I am greeted by Koreans,
Who recognize Konichiwa as Hello.

And so I greet them and bow and sit,
And wait for a break,
In their chatterings,
To hand them free CD's.

The american's among us didn't impress me much.
They like looking at the skin,
With them its always the skin,
And never the soul.

I could share soul with these Koreans,
A train exploded in their home country tonight,
Not certain if it is North or South?
Does it matter when mass catastrophe's cause death?

BBC was on-target with even handed reporting,
I read it from my Cell Phone while they listened dazed,
And they insisted I must be smart,
Having so many versatile backgrounds,
If only I had their jobs,
Their wives,
Their children,
To call my own.

Still, I have my loved ones,
But theirs are dear to me as well,
An oppressed, Conquered people,
They have known suffering,
As I suffer of the mind,
And I should say,

This Korean Cafe'
must take a name,
Akin to Orange Fury,
Or The Lucky Leaf.

Hail Korea

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - Hail Korea - I sat down to a plate of chicken wings with some Koreans today. I learned that in 2002 they jointly sponsored the World Cup (soccer) and I learned that one of them plans to open a restaraunt near where Tom's is. It might be an interesting place to check out. Possible names for the restaraunt Orange Fury and Lucky Leaf. These were from my marketing book. In any case, the man has 10 years experience in cooking in Korea and his associates are from varying backgrounds and career paths. One is a researcher in medicine at UB. They seemed impressed with me, which was a nice surprise. I thanked them as many times as possible for their sharing of their buffalo wings, and I think they ordered more just so that I could have some. I hope to meet them again so that I can find out how they liked my CD.

The Dog and The Fence

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - Our dog has been escaping our back yard for several weeks now. We've done several things to try to stop it. The final straw was roping the fence closed. Well, today her foot got caught in the rope. I guess she had to learn the hard way, but it is unfortunate and I hope she isn't hurt too badly. We are feeding her doggie treats now to keep her happy and fit, I hope honestly though, that this doesn't go on all summer. -Chris

Raving Madness

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - I think I may write more about the Toronto raving madness in www.midwe.com later today. I'm not sure though. It's 10 years in coming. I just turned 32 and I'm having a bit of a crisis over it actually. I keep meeting ravers and ex-ravers on the street in my day to day activities, and it's really kind of strange. Ultra conservative types that were involved with it in one way or another, DJ's pushers and all that.

Just what I need. I try to get out, but they pull me back in...

New GMAIL Part II

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - I just set up Blogger to send e-mails to my Gmail account. I'm curious how exactly its' going to work, so I guess you can just call this another test.

Chris

Martini Olives

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - Martini Olives are delicious, but I must warn you, from one friend to another, never experiment with eating 20 of them in a sitting. They don't settle that well with you, now that I think of it, that's what might have made me sick...The casino will give you whatever you need to get you to cough up the cash, literally...

Baseball!

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - Just got a message for my brother regarding Baseball for this summer. Pretty good deal. I always enjoy watching him play in the field when he's out there. He's a good catcher and fielder and he really enjoys getting all dirted up in the gravel.

Glad to see another year starting...

Chris

Gmail

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - I've been messing around with my Gmail account and I think what its lacking is a POP setup. I don't like Web Interfaces that well, because it takes too much time to delete old posts. But with 1 Gig of storage, who knows...
Maybe I won't delete at all.

Chris

Sickness

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - I've been out of commission for 48 hours with some kind of spring flu. It really stunk. I was getting sick and everything. Anyway, I am better now and the weather seems to be improving, so that's some cause for celebration. I might actually drink coffee this morning. I think its possible that eating 20 martini olives at the Casino may have contributed to the illness. I'm not sure though. In any case, I'm back and smiling, and I'm ready to take on the universe, multiverse, or whatever....

Holy Shit!

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - Holy Shit! The weather just turned mean and ugly. I've seen mean, but I don't think I've ever seen ugly. It started whipping up like there was going to be a tornado or hurricane out there, and it was clear as a bell this morning. What the heck. Both my dogs are scared and panting up here in my room, and I think the neighbors even skipped Hockey practice. Wow.

Saturday Night Fever

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - Tonight I met with my friends Jerry and Mark and a new aq. Named Notioriously Fat Mark. It was interesting to say the least. The table cross talk was a little beligerent, but then it's to be expected from Old Folks and coffee drinkers. I met 7 smurfettes that work for Chuck E Cheeses down the road. They took my CD's and I handed a few out to some older drunks in passing as I visited the restroom. It was a good night. I didn't even have to pull out my Mag Light. Talk to you sooner than later.

So goes life

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - I visited Youngstown tonight with my friend Scott and was the proud recipient of 2 free drinks. That was nice. And I met a former rave addict and some other people in the bar. Most notably 2 women I didn't sleep with. Oh well. Anyway, I blew another 10 bucks at the Casino playing the video poker machines and have all of 9 cents to my name. Lord help me, there's gotta be a flush in there somewhere. I've got my plunger ready.

Tax Fever

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - We should call this the rabid squirell accounting service. We just whipped out my sisters taxes over the web in minutes. It was a sight to see. We can do yours too. :) If you believe in fantasy. These nuggets are all ours baby. Wait a minute. Maybe I have to do mine....

Dennys

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - Last night we went to Dennys for dinner, and they gave us the desert and coffee at no charge. Pretty neat eh? And whoooha, a chance to win 10,000 for calling in the survey. Who wants to bet we'll win that? The chicken melt was fabulouso though.

The Squirell Went Squirelly

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing

Well, Things only went moderately well this week. I bought 30 copies of my books at Kinkos, and paid my cell and cable books, but it turns out that I was lapse in my duties. I went back to the casino with my boy 8 ball and dropped 300 of the thousand I made last week. I guess it was one of those give to Rome what is Rome's.

My folks want cell phones now so it looks like I'll be their hook up.

Drop me notes yall, in e-mail or whatever. I'm 31 now and the celebrations far from over.

Last night

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - Last night we went to the marriot hotel and spent some bux. Scott and I drank a few beers a piece and enjoyed the view from our perch above the bar. There were some nice looking waitresses. One of them took my poetry disk and put it someplace warm. Mmmm. I've never wished I were a piece of software more.

Andy's Place

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - I'm broadcasting here from Andy's place. Listening to BBC Semtex tonight. It's something else. He's definitely dropping the bomb. This is history in the making. This is the first time Andy's ever let me stay over night. He's going to drop me off at my coffee house tomorrow for breakfast, and I'm going to be loaded with free cd's and disks. I just made 140 discs and I have 60 more to burn right now. So that will make 200 tomorrow.

McDonaldland

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - Today we visited our cafe down in lewiston for a 4 egg mcmuffin breakfast, and drove a bit down into Ransomville to visit my friends who live there. She was ok and he was sleeping. They have a little girl who is 4 and very cute. She walks on her tiptoes and always wants to play hide and seek. I told them about my casino win and my mom and dad's situation and my sister. And I heard that they hadn't actually had a party this year. All this time I thought I just hadn't been invited. And well, I hadn't because they hadn't had one. BBC is a trip right now. They are playing some 80's throwback synth stuff. And now some hardcore rave music. Wow. I am wearing my new Ecko Rhino shirt I got for my birthday, and we went out to dinner at SAM's club for Pizza. For lunch earlier we'd had Mighty Taco.

The daily report

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing

Here's this morning's news. All that's fit to print of course. Yesterday I went out on an outing with my aunt. We went to Buffalo, after stopping briefly at Tim Hortons and the bank to deposit the thousand dollar check I got from the casino. I'm actually kind of proud I kept what I won. The ride up to Buffalo was leisurely. We took the Boulevard and watched all of the local businesses and Cars go by and I smoked a couple of cigarettes as we approached the city of Amherst. I ended up falling asleep, and my Aunt went directly to the Salvation Army thrift store. When I awoke, I had to drag her out of there, kicking and screaming. This was my least favorite place to sit in the car and wait. In any case, we got over to Barnes and Noble and I bought four books. Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, Ulysses, A Tail of Two Cities, and another one that escapes me momentarily. I spent about 35 dollars, and I was glad to be able to.

I finished the night before, Registering some domain names for the websites I've been working on developing. They are all moving along nicely and I am happy to say, have been easy to build and maintain using the Blogger software.

It looks like I will be able to pay my bills this month. For that I am happy. It's so strange that this all happened within 24 hours of my birthday. There's no complaints here, just a kind of wonderment.

I'm still waiting for my mother to return home from her tour to Ohio. If that happens soon, I'll get that birthday cake I was promised. MMMMMmmm.

Don Pablos

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing -

As many of you already know, tonight was my birthday. My father and my aunt treated me to Don Pablos and I had some great Mexican food. I enjoyed a Chimi De Oro which is a Chimichanga with jalepeno cheese. It came with refried beans, a small salad, rice and guacamole. I also ordered a bowl of Chicken Chili which was delicious in its own right, and a bottle of Dos Equis, but what they brought me seemed way larger than a bottle. It was this huge whalebone type glass and I can only begin to tell you how full my stomach is with all the bubbles.

The Morning News

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing -

Well, Dad left home this morning, and I treated myself to breakfast while watching Good Morning America. I can't believe they are making such a big deal about one fake abduction, there are millions of real abductions that happen around the world, shouldn't we be worrying about them. I got a notice in the mail about donating money for other writers. Yeah write, when they read me, I'll put something in the mail.

It seems like every one's got so much else to do. If it were just a little warmer I'd be out on the front Porch with a book, but then, well, I couldn't be here, so maybe it's just as well. At least you, my diary will listen, and I can gnaw at you incessantly with gnashed little squirrell teeth. Nic, Nic, Nic.

I can't get over what a nuisance these keyboards are, taking up space in my room, when I can't play them, because they have electrical problems. I used to love noodling around with them, but when they start sounding like scrambled eggs, I have to stop. It's annoying, I can almost get started composing something and they go haywire. It's like they have filthy contacts.

The morning news out of Britain is that a bombing was narrowly avoided. And they are talking about some adventures in Cricket.

Hey. Let's throw in a photo - Here's my best friend from the dining room console.

Furby

I'm seriously thinking about offering him a smoke, what do you think,
Yeah, I'm going to do that.

See you soon!

Hip Hop Prophecies

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing -

Hip Hop Prophecies
by Christopher J. Bradley
(c)2004

This is nothing like the old days,
We are not heroes by proxy,
We are moving through the hip hop glaze,
Of another night and another day,
Just dropping lines and dropping rhymes,
Waiting for time to stand still and bring the earth home, like the birth of a motorhome.

Can I stop rhyming, not unless I'm crying,
For today is the day I was born for,
And tonight is the night I get my official groove on,
Because you can't not celebrate on your birthday,
Even if you're not mackin' You can still be stackin'

The wheel spins in the night,
And the office is closed after five,
So just hop in my ride and we'll jive,
Cause the road's open and I've got a plan,
To take the currents of wind by storm,
Into the new millenium by force of words rather than action, because action is a triggered gun.

I've never dropped my hands on a soul,
And I'll never go to fisticuffs with you,
Even though I'm big,
And I could crush you like a rock,
It's not my scene this fighting thing,
And I don't know why it would matter,
It's time to end human on human violence,
For good and make the world sit down and take notice, Get Googled rather than oogled,
And for once for crying out loud,
Could I just have one Rose for the past.

Herkimer Stones

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing -

Herkimer Stones
by Christopher J. Bradley
(c)2004

Jennifer,
You sent me the Herkimer Stones,
Sharing with the Diamonds of your little rock Quarry,
They were meant to be a symbol of love.
I wish I had the nerve,
When I had received them,
To Write you Back,
And tell you how much I was impressed.

I was a little boy,
And while you were not allowed to listen to rock,
You had grown up,
And I just trounced on,
Like a big green Ogre.

Now I find myself alone,
And I cannot place,
Why I didn't even respond to your recent Christmas card,
You deserve better than has happened,
And I know that the world is hard on all of us,
I just know,
That if I don't deserve anyone,
I don't deserve anyone with as good a heart,
As you have bled,
In your ink.

Evolution and Genetics

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - Man, this tape is more and more daunting to me, I can keep listening to it, but it keeps throwing all this game theory and gene distribution and extinction and natural selection stuff at me. It's nice to listen to because it helps to enhance vocabulary, but it is annoying that my comprehension is so low when it comes to this subject matter.

I can understand some of the motives driving this kind of work. And especially the need to keep so much of it under wraps, Darwin held off on releasing his studies for nearly 8 years because he was nervous that the world was not ready to accept any theory counter to the supremacy of creation theory. And he had traveled all over the world, getting many of his ideas sparked in the Galapagos islands. That stuff I can understand, much beyond that, and I get lost. The tape is so long and excruciating that it's kind of masochistic to listen to it. As I get better at listening to it perhaps I will get better at it, and be able to connect with some of the researchers still living today to find out if I can clone myself... :>

BBQ Chicken

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - Tonight for dinner with Dad I had some BBQ chicken with Rice and Corn. Nothing like a down home country meal to go with my Cran-Raspberry Juice. We watched the news with this crazy cleric dude stirring up trouble in Iraq. Just what we need with all the other problems over there. Bush shouldn't have pursued this course of action, I am more certain of it now than ever, and I definitely know that my vote is on the other side of the Scorecard this November.

But we are just talking about the nightly news right, nothing is wrong in this country. We hate more and more each day and love less, and the fiction becomes truth and the next time you look over your shoulder, there's some freaking waco with a barcode on the back of his thick skull waving a pistol at you and ripping off your wallet and car keys. Talk about safety in numbers, we are more of a hazard to ourselves than we really think, and that's not the half of it. We are converting the world to a zone of violence.

People need to be instructed in the pacifist teachings of Christ, Buddha, and those of the Hindu spirituality. They need to understand the wisdom of Confucious and Solomon, and learn that war is not the answer by any means to any of our problems. We need to stop being an army of one and start being a collective of hearts.

That's my take on it anyway, but then, I'm just here picking the bones for the dogs.

Chris

David Bowie

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - My friend Mike said today that he went to see a Bowie show in Toronto this past week. Man that guy sure is kickin' it live for being as old as he is. He said that Bowie played all the young dudes, suffragette city, and Ziggy Stardust. He also played under pressure and a few others that I can't recall right now. But isn't that interesting, we find all kinds of interest in 70's music even today. It boggles the mind, when there is so much new stuff to be into. Oh yeah, he also played I'm afraid of Americans from the Earthling CD.

Jo - we managed to be in communicado last night. Hopefully things will go better tonight and I will actually catch you on-line. I am stuck at home yet again, because the car I drive is still not here, so I'll be working on my blogs and getting ready for the next big thing. You know it, I'm not pulling any punches this week, I'm ready for the big time.

Talk to you soon,

Christopher

Roll Up The Rim

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - For the last 2 months, my aunt and I have been buying coffee at the same spot here in Niagara Falls. The franchise is called Tim Hortons. They are running a promotion called Roll Up The Rim to win. When you are finished with your coffee, you roll up the rim of the cup and if you win, you could end up with a bicycle, one of 30 trucks, or a cup of coffee, or a bagel. All this time we've been playing, with 1 winner in 9, for the past 2 months, I have won nothing. Nothing. Nothing in 2 months, and I am becoming gradually more and more disappointed with the contest and the coffee really isn't even that good. It's just becoming ritualistic and I don't know when the madness is actually going to end and I'm going to get a donut out of the deal. Anyway, we went there this morning, and enjoyed the sunrise over the southeast corner of the city, and then we went down to the reservation and got gas. I told her I'd rather come home today rather than mess around with anything else, because I am committed to getting my Tone Def One Blog under way. I bought the domain name this morning and I want to have everything in tip top shape before she gets up and running.

Jol- Last night I tried to share 150 photos with you but for some reason the server kept knocking everyone off. Maybe they are going through some minor changes. I know that Gmail thing has everyone slathering over google because I haven't been able to get in to get an account yet. I want to get one of these gigabyte mail accounts so I can store my music in it and then mail it out when the change happens. It will be quick and volumous when it does. The nature of mail will change forever.

Anyway, to get down with it, I'm here and hooked into the PJ Hit Squad on BBC, and I'll be writing and reading blogs, and kind of making my way around the scene today. Rock on.

Evolution

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - Today I read some news about New Zealand frogs and Dolphins. I am amazed that these species, are endangered and that we are actually doing something to try to stave off their disappearance. As I have been cleaning here, I have just discovered my Evolution tapes and begun to listen to them. They can merge with the themes broght in the Bible. They are very interesting and Scientific to listen to and I enjoy the excitement and energy they use to discuss the subject. They are very exuberent in their talkings about life and all that it brings in its own remarkability.

Talk about a head rush!

Easter

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - Good Friday is approaching and it is this time of year that we should be thinking of the passover, the last supper, the sermon on the mount, and the passing of Jesus at the hands of the Romans, as handed over by the Jewish Elders, betrayed by his right hand man, Judas. The story of Easter is told every year in church, but too often we forget to think outside the bun so to speak. The story does not apply to a once a year celebration. We should remember the passion of Christ each day in the things we do, so that we act in order to attain heaven through belief. That is my short spiel, and I will leave. If you believe, you will find heaven. There's really not much more to say. No one says you have to do any more, or any less, or even believe. The world is made up of choices. I find mine in my faith. Find yours through yours. The Rabid Squirrel Has Spoken!

The 10 Commandments

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - Spring Cleaning time is here and I have cleaned up. For 80 Bucks, I got a whole room full of crates and drawers and cleaned my room seriously seperating 2 drawers full of poetry from the other discs and garbage I had strewn about my room. When I say 2 drawers I mean 2 drawers. I have about 12 working legal pads in those drawers along with old college papers that I might be able to make a buck with. :) Anyway, I am enjoying the night and I was catching some of the 10 commandments on ABC with Dad in the whole palm sunday tradition. Somehow I always wonder why they play it on Palm Sunday rather than Saturday. Hmmm. Maybe ABC is neutral? Who knows.
I look forward to using the car late tomorrow night to escape whoville here, and before I do it, I am going to have another hundred discs pressed. Sing Halleluia For me and keep the faith, I'm goin' strong like a country and western song. Something like Cowgirls Have More Fun. I'm Invisible...In the Rythm of Love.

The Great Gatsby

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, was an excellent novel. I finished it in 12 hours from 11 pm to 11am. I was impressed with my reading skill, but I was more impressed with how easily the text went down. His writing was like butter. The book was fantastic and talked about how people relate to one another and how they are so intertwined. I was glad to finish it and have yet another great American author under my belt.

The Wedding

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - I suppose I should write a little more about the wedding. The wedding was beautiful with a candle lighting ceremony where the bride and groom simultaneously lit a candle to symbolize their goal of being a light to the world together. The gowns and tuxedo's were beautiful, especially those of the bride and her mother.

The reception was excellent in a large ball room with large tropical trees and many many guests. My cousin David sat with us at our table and it was great to get to know that he is involved in real estate. He is a very gifted man and was inclined to talk about books and scuba adventures. He said he once saw a 4 ft. Octopus under water.

More to come...

The wedding and other family matters

www.noisecontrolpub.com - Noisecontrol Publishing - It would seem that nothing could go wrong with a wonderful wedding this past week, but things have actually gone terribly awry. My sister, who I love and respect dearly is in the hospital at present with some sort of abdominal pain that will not go away. I wish I could sit in in her place. Anyway, if all goes well this will be a week long problem and then it will just go away. My parents are mobilizing for a trip out to where she's at and it looks like I will be keeping the dogs company with my Dad. My brothers will be together it seems, and with a couple hundred at my disposal, I guess I can comfort myself in the way I know how...

My friend Scott will be here, but I will not be out this Friday or Saturday to see my friends in Buffalo. (without a car). Give me peace I say, Give me peace....
